I'm betting that Kaiji went to Tamotsu's apartment and convinced him to let him stay there for a bit. He could slip out in a disguise while Endou's group is raiding the apartment. He could have impersonated Tamotsu, but Kaiji doesn't know how to drive a motorcycle and he's too paranoid to do it...

Kaiji is officially a bulwark manga now, we spent an entire chapter on Endou's thought process and the entire thing was a joy to read despite having zero plot progression. This is peak FKMT in the best way.

This is great! Honestly I'm not too fussed about the difference between Genre and Theme, it's pretty arbitrary. The important thing is that we have more searchable descriptors, which can only make it easier for people to find new series that they'll have a higher chance of liking.
