I also read the novels and absolutely loved them. It's a great story. Have you read Shuukura(Buying My Classmate Once a Week)? I personally see a ton of similarities in the two stories. Heck even the couples are very similar to each other. 95% of that novel is spent inside one or the others head...

Well said period It's not each chapter ends on a cliffhanger or anything but the way the story progresses just constantly makes you want to know what happens next. I think that's what keeps most readers who like it coming back for more.
