I'm glad she went right back to Fern and Stark and they were still there. I guess hardly a moment had passed for them. I was also expecting a demon ambush as they walked toward town, but they got a Himmel flashback ambush! LOL

Frieren is like "I know this is an illusion but I just gotta kiss this studmuffin. If he doesn't figure it out, I'll tell him after the wedding night... Or maybe after the honeymoon... Maybe..." Then Himmel doesn't do it cuz he already knows... Bummer for Frieren!

It's a really cute and nice story but I wish more would happen than just their pining away for each other. They need to have some adventures or something. The worldbuilding and background seems to interesting to spend on just them making googly eyes at each other. I mean, that's great and all...
