The part of the story that makes up vol 2 of the LN was never posted online and is purely LN original content as far as I'm aware. In all likelihood, the publisher that picked it up to publish it as a LN didn't want to leave it as a one-off and asked for enough content for a second volume.
What a disgusting bitch, yikes. I wonder what will be done about her in the long run.
For now it looks like the simp friend will be used to teach mc that trying to help your friends stay away from negative influences is not the same as isolating them.
Ugh, this chapter was just pure teaser... need some meat next one: fighter backstory, sponsor/organizer schemes, cool fight tactics, dumbass gags... something please, Mr Author! :qq:
Making me wanna go reread Kekkaishi... that series was fun.:boomer:
Also, man, can the rabbit be useful or zip it? At least the cat & co have done things to help out our lovely couple.
Man, feels like I've been waiting for this for eons... think the wn's gone on hiatus so the author can work on the ln twice while doing so~:glee:
not that unpopular tbh, and I agree
I like that this manga can keep this kind of teasing of the audience fresh. Top tier execution.
Also, damn this woman is strong. Putting someone that much bigger than you in a proper lock is fucking hard.:wtf:
you know, sometimes the answer to unreasonable behavior from another party is to be even more unreasonable yourself; so it's worth a shot, I say~:smugchisato:
Been rereading this series today, and your comment made me realize he most likely asked for intimacy sans glamour.
Thanks for improving my appreciation of this stellar work!:glee:
You jest, and I laugh, but a bunch of men in JP have been taking this option because being jailed for half a month for battery/assault is better than spending 3~5 years in there and having your whole reputation semi-permanently ruined by a difficult-to-disprove false accusation. :aquadrink:
Seriously what's this weirdo's angle? Why all the subterfuge? And if it's nefarious, I sure do hope all the annoyances that nagged about "muh rules for demons and humans to coexist" prove themselves useful fast.
Honestly, I've seen this "no one was hurt or no harm was meant so let's forget I attacked you/blackmailed you/threaten you or your loved ones/some other needlessly antagonistic shit because I need you to help me with something" trope in JP media so much I'm starting to think it's a value...
Man, this chapter had it all. Funny, sweet, cute, and just tiny bit lewd~:win:
Also, sometimes I forget that Tozawa may be cute and petite, at least compared to Kumasaka, but she's got that gorilla strength!:kek:
Japan, can we please just stop? That "just a regular human" line only works when the character IS A REGULAR HUMAN. It's so fucking cringy when all these transhuman motherfuckers, in this case a literal one, say that shit.
Unless you're rewarding them Roman style, you're just setting yourself up for an eventual backstab. The only traitors that deserve even a second glance are the ones who turned after being outcast/ousted. :pepehmm:
The people who want to read about someone stubbornly refusing to grow up are few and far between. They may be "realistic," but realism is often a trap in storytelling because reality tends to be sort of crap. What most people want is "believable," not "realistic." Immature older characters are...
You know, there's not much actually wrong with this series' overall plot and major developments, but I'll be damned if this author didn't both the execution in damn near everything else. It makes me really wonder about them. How old are they? How much life experience do they have? How much do...
