That whole scene with Yamashita and No. 13 was odd. And not just because Yamashita had that... thing on her face. I guess that's supposed to be some sort of wise old man beard, so that she can properly intone deep philosophy?

So the only one left who's not an official part of the harem is Hanako (and the witch girl we don't know yet). Though I guess Hanako is a willing part of pretty much any harem, basically by default.
And boom - just like that, Katsuwo dealt with the problem of all of the boys in the class.

This is very, very good. It's simple and straightforward, but it opens up a whole raft of interesting questions that people would likely do well to consider.
