Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 17 Ch. 163 - Fujiwara Chika Wants to Scare

@walczyk Don't worry, Iino is much more popular than Tsubame in Japan and in China. And I have yet gotten a convincing response with how Tsubame would win, both from a meta and narrative perspective.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 17 Ch. 163 - Fujiwara Chika Wants to Scare

@walczyk If you've read any romcom ever, it's like 90/10 on Iino.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 17 Ch. 163 - Fujiwara Chika Wants to Scare

@Qelix So once again you relate to “your friend”, which is projecting your own circumstance or belief onto a scenario that’s doesn’t hold nearly the same amount of weight of similarity. I can give you plenty of reasons why Tsubame isn’t good for Ishigami. For a relationship to work, you need to...

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 17 Ch. 163 - Fujiwara Chika Wants to Scare

@Qelix What the fuck are you reading lmao? This entire story has been about people overcoming their faults through various means to become better people in the end. Shirogane was a loser slacker kid delinquent who was close to failing. Now, he's the top of the school and respected by most of the...

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 17 Ch. 162 - New Game Student Council

Ishigami, Tsubame isn’t Kaguya... why don’t you actually try speaking with her instead of pursuing this completely unrelated goal...

    TL needed

I wanna finish up the Kaguya doujins, since they've been delayed for a while. Anyone down to TL one chapter?

@Variousletters What? Onodera is the one who brings up the idea in the first place. Iino hasn't even done anything, since the entire chapter (except the beginning and the end) is set before school started. I.e "Miko Iino's Winter Break" Speedreaders strike again...

Uh, for the speedreading dumbasses, IIno was clearly goaded into this whole "make Ishigami work for me" thing by Onodera. She even lays it on Iino by implying that Ishigami is suffering from guilt unless Iino does something to help alleviate it. So no, she's not randomly taking advantage of him...

@Derael Yeah. Also, Iino making Ishigami do things for her is actually good. Ishigami clearly feels guilty about hurting Iino (otherwise he wouldn't do it). By making him do things for her, Iino lets Ishigami essentially pay back his debt that he imagined and free's up the burden of Ishigami...

@Stadenwick if she really was, it makes no sense why she would go back to save him. Aka even tells us through Maki that the whole “I’m gonna make him do stuff” is a front.

@Psychronia I feel like it's something that will be explained later on, because it seems Iino genuinely can't understand why Ishigami is so broken up about this. From her perspective, it isn't a big deal so she doesn't even think Ishigami was that hurt by it. This is sorta tied in to the title...

@Rheeve Uh, I don't think you ever need to worry about a "crowd hating on Ishigami", considering how popular he is. And no, obviously no one is giving her a pass because she's a girl. People are able to understand where she's coming from. That's why. "Full on toxic", what does that mean. Also...

Hey! I’m the typesetter, and now that we have the CN raws, there were some (maybe) mistranslations. Here are the edits: Page 4: How annoying -> How troublesome Page 5: How nauseating -> You’re kinda freaking me out here… Page 16: If I was this stubborn, that would’ve been bad. -> Nothing good...
