@SummerK People do many seemingly "illogical" things out of displaced emotional baggage. You'd be amazed how long they will do so. In this case, it's a morality play about it and how it destroyed a woman, how she was reincarnated to unfuck the mess, and see a better life's outcome. :3

I'm quite impressed with this one compared with many of the other comics in this genre. It feels on par with something like The Vision of Escaflowne, but in a sense like it was originally visioned before it's episode list was cut in half (same with Gundam Wing). While I don't exactly have cash...
