Dang, gory! It’s been a while since I’ve read something with such grotesque detail.
Pretty interested to see what the real deal with the horned ones is.
Yeah the setup is a little too soon and too tidy. It’s not the hero, it could be the weedy sage guy. Why no one thought to look beyond the status screen to check Mc for a curse is pretty curious. And why his old party is so nasty to him is strange, too.
It’s a pretty lovely expression of filial piety to a family she lost too soon, so while it might’ve been cringey without context, it’s understandable and touching within it.
If electricity doesn’t work in the dungeons, I guess those headlamps are all conveniently magical. Anyway, Sung, are you an idiot? Slapping an artifact like the orb of avarice into the market will lead to catastrophe.
@tetsuyalp to be fair, the brain of a child is still developing physiologically. I’m not sure that any writers are necessarily taking that into account. Tho this MC is more mature than most.
I’m in the same boat as @MazzieB811. But even putting all that aside, the protagonist has become so whiny and stupid over time, without showing much discernible growth, so I think I’m just gonna drop it.
