@Tcof i think the word you are looking for is guide, basically showing the way or instructing on how to do something. Guild refers to a group of people that are related somehow, like an adventurers guild. Guilds are kind of like Unions.

@rrreedking do you remember any more about it? That is pretty generic description other then the half-swording. Do you remember if it was an isekai? Any specific fights or events that stand out as memorable? Any memorable characters or odd parts of the story?
