@Rino tbh from the way the ml said it, it seemed like his problem was less that she owned slaves and more that she whipped them, so slavery might be acceptable in their society (I'd love to be wrong about this tho)

my guess is that he'll be a love rival turned villain-ish bc of that last panel, and i just think that god and tsukina aren't wary enough/trust too much in how determined he is to be a good savior for him to not become an antagonist (intentionally or not)
