It is. Staff was just delayed in marking the publication as Completed. I've also updated the volume numbers even though 4 isn't published yet so that the "End" tag shows up.

For a number of reasons, I think the author simply planned on telling a shorter story rather than being pressured by concerns of being axed. Not every story needs to be (or should be) some 10-volume+ epic.

Hmm... maybe I made it not stand out enough, but in the bottom-left of the last page I included the "Next time, the final chapter" footnote. Edit: I increased the border around the footnote to make it stand out more.

Given the wording "次回、最終回" for the footnote, the next one (chapter 25) will be the end of the series.
