So he's wasted 1/3 of his (current) total on monsters so weak that he can beat them in 1 kick (even before he leveled up to 500+)? Unless they evolve at level 5 (or they can be released) this sounds like a terrible idea.

@dereth I'm assuming he'd already died. Even then, would probably die in the time it takes to get some rope (assuming he doesn't carry rope on him), tie him up, and shove a hp potion down his throat.

So he gets abilities by killing things that have those abilities. So the bandit he killed had appraisal and mind reading. Why the hell would somebody with appraisal and mind reading become a bandit? All he'd need is an item box and he'd be literally the most powerful merchant ever.
