They really should have tried to make her earn that vol.2 when season 2 of this started; there's just an appealing synergy to that idea, and an unappealing lack of it since they failed to do so... but that might just the autism talking. :dogkek:

Honestly, the forced romance is getting annoying. The action bitter orientated MC blasting through a typical romance focused villainess plot - without romance - was interesting and fun, and now they're thrusting the romance upon her, and it's annoying as hell. If the 'system' is supposed to be...

Which is why it doesn't seem right. An author should try and be one step ahead of the audience and know what they're guessing. But things might become more complicated in other ways, so it might not matter that this issue is so obvious :thonk:

Personally, I'd say the more simple solution is that they were using the electric currents for something, rather than as a talisman of sorts. It might have been as simple as a very early electrotherapy, but who knows, we can hardly ask them, lol. The mysteries of history, and all that. :dogkek:

I looked it up, and it seems what I was talking about was the "Baghdad Battery", not an egyption artifact as I had remembered - and it seems like they did indeed exist, though they're whereabouts after the iraq war is unfortunately unknown.

I seem to recall that the basic principles behind batteries are surprisingly old. They've found large and ancient egyption jars that were actually a primitive form of a battery... I no idea what they used them for though. I'm sure that if these people were simply given the idea of mixing...

Exactly, she could always confess, and most certainly get into a relationship with him, so the crying on the floor screaming about her unfulfilled love is stupid. As for whether or not her love is being reciprocated, or whether or not he will love her for her; that's what the point of dating is...
