Do you have an irrational hatred of imperial units, or are you just not aware that lbs is the short for pounds, a weight unit equal to about 450 grams? Edit: unless it is you’re hung up with the pluralization of the unit lb, which, while technically incorrect, is still often done.

Why make such a deal about someone capitalizing lbs in a work where everything is written in upper case? It’s not like it’s metric where you risk it becoming a completely different unit.
