"They don't offend you" sounds odd. In context she's either saying "they don't offend me" (as in, it doesn't bother me that you got those friends), or "they don't insult you" (as in they are good people because they aren't insulting you ... well ... ^^).

Even just looking at the drawing you'd surely go "thinking about this being comfortable makes zero sense". ^^#

I like the TF concept but other than that I can't say it did anything that makes it stand out too much. So can't really blame a magazine for not picking it up too much (and of course unknown to us what the overall plan was here).

Now obviously, realistically, you'd see a yakuman once a year, maybe. But here you can absolutely expect some to happen, so everyone's well within range...
