Chapter 133, near the end, hints at the Isekai story 12-13 chapters later.Telne stalks Takiya after work, they reintroduce themselves, Takiya makes a "you are so small now!"-gesture, Telne points at her horns and Takiya apologizes earnestly.
Telne's origin story... And maybe Takiya's, too? Modern Takiya acts just like the king did during their adventure. Fafnir has also remarked on Takiya's "sociable mask" in a recent chapter.
The theories here are great and match Fafnir's being well. Personally, I also wonder if it has something to do with the holy sword. If it now has a magical connection to Kobayashi and Tooru, then what about to the god that created it..?
Someone else mentioned that Kobayashi might have...
Huh. That's surprisingly sweet. He feels content just staying at a respectful distance and watching over her. The kind of guy that feels bliss listening to a cute gal yapping endlessly about her passions?
Kobayashi looked the most overjoyed ever when they begun transitioning into maid talk.
Ha! He likes teasing, back during the festival arc he also happened to be the one taste testing the rival's drink. I thought that might be foreshadowing!
That said, he's obviously not gunning for Naori, just using intentionally misleading language.
She used to be a top-tier adventurer but now serve as a maid-turned-sex slave to the hero? Women really get treated like shit by men in any world, huh.
Her two left hands in the final page freak me out. I feel like this manga was hinting at future turbulence with an overbearing mom, but I guess the mangaka got tired of the premise.
