The one armed dude kept reminding of someone, but now I remember it was the dude who killed the Flame Pillar in Kimetsu no Yaiba. And now I've learned Hylophobia is an irrational fear of forests... or I guess in this case anything remotely associated with the wild outdoors?

.... I don't fully grasp it, but the imagery is... haunting, but also beautiful in a way. It's a gentle melancholy that tends to linger just a bit.

I feel like maybe this is something inherent to Japanese culture specifically. We all have "gratefulness" but there's a kind of obligation added on to it. Doesn't make it any less believable, I'm sure the Japanese and the Japanese government aren't about to hand over their society on a silver...
