@anak_sampah -- Hata-sensei is playing fast and loose with the timeline. On one hand, he has the iPhone X added. On the other, the Hayate character cameos have said characters roughly the same age as they were at the end of HnG. Ditto "These Two Will Be Married in 100 Days".

It really sucks that two scanlation teams dropped this. And no one licensed the manga either. I often request Seven Seas license it when they do their surveys, but obviously nothing has come of that.

There was also a second chapter with a crossover with some other manga I'm not familiar with. Hopefully, that gets scanlated as well.

Hahahaha! I called it, not that it was difficult. In "Hayate the Combat Butler", Hata-sensei was notorious about dropping major plot elements just before a break. Then after the break, it is back to the gag humor/whatever.

So, part of the anime ending is coming into play, only the manga is playing it better IMO.

You can use the term "oni" you know. After all, the official translations do. And her bloody shirt actually says, "Oni San"

Even the official translation uses "oni", not "demon girl".
