I think their just so crazy that they focus on killing people first and their own lives second. The blow is softened because their skill but too short sighted to see the obvious long term consequences. Something like " Haha we killed everyone now we will use our power to rule the world. Wait...

MC is kinda of hypocrite, when it comes to murder. He's like " Ah man their talking about killing people for fun or for research How deplorable I have to kill them all" Like i get you should prevent murder but you have to ask yourself some serious questions if your instincts are to repay mass...
