I think that what Nazuna meant by, " The only thing better than that was not getting murdered.", was how the only thing better than raising the Nazuna that we know is not being killed, given Kabura's situation. I could be wrong though, the only thing I can reference to is this translation.

This chapter was honestly amazing. Something about the paneling or how he remembers different points with Yamada just made it so good. The title suits it perfectly. I wish this was actually incorporated into the main story in some way instead of just being a side story, if that's what it is.
