It's nice they added back the slice of life. It was getting way too much about the war for my tastes, found myself mostly looking at the action panels without reading.

That's often the level of dissatisfaction we get from a 'tragedy' tag. Cheap deaths and justifying the protagonist going on rampages. For point 3, that's what character development is for, especially if it's done through good vibes with the protagonist. There are many amazing examples out there...

Oh, those are really good suggestions, never heard of those. Hate seeing the 'Tragedy' tag in Sundome, typically means the ending will suck. Tsumi no Kai is def on my list now. Nana to Kaoru is amazing, highly recommended. Nozoki Ana, not bad, but you should have low story expectations ...

The end is pretty ridiculous, I wish the story would develop further. Pretty good stuff, though. It's like a spicier and quicker version of Nana to Kaoru.

Did I misread the last panel, or did Nayuta seriously launch a chain through Yoru's head without waiting a second? Nayuta probably knows about Yoru. I don't think Nayuta would do the same thing as Makima to Power.
