@criver It never did. No idea if it was the author themselves or the publishers but someone got the idea of splitting the series in two and sell the chapters from the split onwards as a sequel.

@Syapaaye The PTSD arc is the memest of all Alternative, but one thing the manga does well is to portray how miserable and despairing the characters involved are (saw the raws so believe me on this one). The visual novel is rather tame in comparison, Takeru is coming out of this a wreck.

@shrike True enough, and this manga is closer to Drakengard than it is to Nier in terms of fuckery, future chapters/volumes will show it aplenty (saw the raws up to vol 8 and there'll be some nasty crap).
