@Seriha - I think what she did was the straw that broke the camel's back for him. He was hearing crap about his upbringing for a good while, and when she took "pity" on him (his perspective), that probably pushed him over the edge.

@Manhwalover69 - It was explained in other similar Manwha's where someone who has a very high noble rank e.g. Duke, also has other smaller ranks within the family name such as count, earl, etc. Once Abel becomes the Duke, he will relinquish his Earl rank, and that will probably go to his future...

Can someone please help explain the story so far? Who are her parents - we don't know her dad, and her "mom" says that they don't share a drop of blood, so who the heck are her parents?

@MolaCola - Yup. That's why I'm a little surprised everyone calling her out. She didn't actually do anything wrong - no affairs/stealing MC's treasure/being opportunistic. It seemed like a pretty clean break especially compared to what usually happens in these comics.

This is worth the read. This goes through the usual tropes but with a good twist. I personally like this much more than the generic crap that is simply a reprint of others' work.

@Shigeruguy - Wrong. Gracie had proven to be on track to making 10x her initial investment as even her father says that she was doing good until the rainstorm. Even after giving clothes away for free, her avg profit increase was 3x her starting point.
