@chenando1 I believe it has something to do with the strength of the monster he defeats. For example, the giant gorilla he defeated dropped a revolver, but the cockroslimes are just dropping bullets. So, a dragon would probably drop an RPG. (And maybe an ancient dragon would drop a nuke)

So, MC was able to beat the last boss (Origin) by himself, but has a hard time fighting high level elemental tails even with his other friends? Damn, that elemental tail must've been one hell of a hidden boss then. The level difference is way too high it seems.

@Kaarme That trick is often used in RPGs as well, but it's not that effective. If you're level 10, then you can be around level 40 but even that would be hard.
