So the branding is why he finds monsters left and right in the future or is it that he seeks them? Maybe they are abundant because of the dark age they mentioned.
But he DID regret many times, and he apologized and he felt conflicted by wishing to become king whilst suffering for the loss of his comrades. After all he is still a person.
Grifith's face suprises me, he really look like he wasn't expecting this, he had the chat with them before, but he is still suprised by this situation.
@CyanHide It's the guy with the dagger, the problem is that he doesn't have his weapons.
This is really omminous, it makes me think of the gods/demons in Warhammer, though in warhammer thay were more like concepts that couldn't be destroyed because they were a part of reality, wilsth the guys here can be killed if you have enough strenght and a thick enough sword.
Why does the tragedy have to struck now? This was going beyond great, Caska finally resolved her feeling and so did Guts, there were no more traumas or complexes to torment them, the only thing left was love. And suddenly a shitton of monsters appear and kill everyone.
I feel like this was the right outcome, Grifith need to learn to let go and Guts to find his own dream, be it a big or small one. The thing that didn't end so well were unresolved feelings of Caska, maybe one day she'll try to find him, but for that she'll have to find the same resolve as Guts.
