Interesting that the TL uses the word deadname, since it's a very recent term (early 2010's iirc) that's being applied to a medieval fantasy setting. Personally I dont think it fits with the story's culture, but if it truly is the closest term to use then maybe there's something to it.

@Raydnt Even if that's what Rei's initial goals are, I doubt that the story will go on without Claire developing feelings for her at some point. Which still doesn't make it okay.

@Raydnt I did expect a lot of people to disagree with me but I wasn't expecting to get insulted for it. See, all of those are really important for Claire to overcome. But that has nothing to do with her loving Rei back. It's worth pushing Claire emotionally if it's for the sake of questioning...

I don't know. People say Claire is opening up voluntarily, but I see it as her getting emotionally worn down until she returns Rei's feelings and that doesn't sit well with me.
