Wow. Cool's really airing the dirty laundry. I wonder if some fellow mangaka are reading this and nodding knowingly as they recognize people they know. I bet this manga has so much readership in the industry that it doesn't really need normal sales.
Are the Japanese particularly vulnerable to challenges? I mean, when she said all that crap and then did the debate challenge, I'd be like "Run along, kid. You don't get to decide any of that stuff. You don't want her to be president, vote against her, and we see how many people agree with...
Well, yes and no. I think it's her near-complete sunniness that makes him feel better . . . she's, like, a walking safe space, a well of reassurance that things can be good.
You're young.
It's been a common thing for decades of manga. What you never ever see is people who are kind of not great at cooking. Either they're very good, or if it's a try-hard heroine they don't know how but become excellent after effort and/or training . . . or, they're a hazard to...
Neat translation notes; puts a whole different spin to it all. I'm almost glad to have found out about it after reading the chapter, so I could see it both ways.
Well, and the translation of the cat guy's dialogue was terrible--I'm convinced it lost a lot!

It's definitely an impressive story and I'm glad you people are working on it. Frankly, there's a lot of pretty mediocre manga out there, but this is not one of them; I would happily burn a dozen typical isekai variations to keep this around.
Eh, no big deal. He ain't gonna know what hit him. In a short time he'll be saying yes and feeling confused about what happened. Tadakiyo will smoothly maneuver him and stand on his honour at the same time, and our girl will just overwhelm him with her-ness.
So if you're uncomfortable confessing your weird desires as a headache remedy, getting good at massage really helps. For my wife it's getting a massage from me first, painkillers a long way second.
I kinda get how it could happen. You start being protective, it becomes a habit, the "overprotective" response starts being your default reaction to everything and you don't notice how you've slowly drifted from "reasonable concern" to "What the fuck is going on here".
