I don't drop manga much, but this one is reaaally teetering on disinterest for me.

I really hope this isn't the direction the author has decided on. I like this series, but I don't think this current situation is the payoff we were being set up for. If this has been the author's game plan from day one, I kinda wish there was more substance to it than what we've gotten.
