I took this down briefly after posting it because I saw something in the next page that made ma question the translation. From what I can guess is that its something that doesn't translate well, time to figure out phrasing so it still gets the same fell across.

I am in love with the human swap. They got the characters so good without having to give them animal like features to distinguish them

Did you accidentally upload this as chapter 13 and quickly change it to chapter 12 before anyone saw your mistake?

@okami6663 I see Oscar as a character similar to Angel from the Buffy series. Started as a minor character then has grown to be apart of the supporting cast.

@Georg-Prime Thanks, I always appreciate the shout outs. As for Oscar, I'm not going to defend his actions but the next few arcs are . So there is room for growth so don't completely right him off yet, but I haven't translated any of that yet so I'm basing my assumptions on just the muted...

@InedibleSpook For the Vampire one I assume he knew it was shady and looked into it finding the anemic cases and made the distinction that anemic -> blood loss-> vampire. Honestly I probably give Oscar less credit for how smart he is than he deserves, but I still don't see how he picks up on...

@Hacete I think its mostly a western thing of calling it a lucky cat, even I didn't know it wasn't called that till I did this page.

@Hacete actually the "Maneki-neko" or "Beckoning cat" is the name of it and frequently mistaken for being Chinese in origin rather than Japanese, and is incorrectly referred to as a "Chinese lucky cat" or jīnmāo ("golden cat").

Do not be afraid to love cute things if you are a guy. I am a big bear of a man with resting bitch face but I just can't get enough of cute series like this one. Whether it be a series about cute animals or childhood bliss, it just fills me with a joy and nostalgia for a time before the world...
