One of those stories where the minor characters must have never seen/read any horror. Led to a creepy old house by a freaky kid whom you bully, to get sex from a mysterious beautiful woman? What could go wrong?

Maybe it's just me, but pages 8-9 are genuinely scary. Slug-bug monsters stuck on everything? Eww. Doesn't matter that they look goofy enough to belong in a Pixar film, still Eww.

So far this is NOT scary. Maybe spooky for young readers. Pretty funny though! Their classmates are dropping like flies, and the school is crawling with supernatural horrors, but the kids in the newspaper club aren't going to let any of that distract them from ... well whatever it is they do...

I read 7 chapters, skimmed another three. Whew. I can now post that this is UTTER GARBAGE. Worthless in every way. Bail, abandon, bug-out.

There's another side to this. True fact: some women LIE about not being virgins. 1) They don't want some asshole guy who wants a virgin. 2) They don't want any stupid drama about their "first time" 3) They don't want to seem fridgid/niëve/unattractive/childish/weak/etc. 4) etc. etc. etc.
