Fair, and I agree. I just used that word because when trying to find the origin of that myth some years back the best I got was some very old advertisements. I just assumed that it was marketing that propagated and perpetuated it from there since it's something I've seen repeated from all over...

I'm always amazed by how many people constantly want to defend Utako. Even now she still deflecting and trying to run away. The grooming and collapse of her family may have warped her upbringing, but even at the end of this confrontation she was still giving herself an out by saying "if" and...

I'm curious to what extent this myth persists in Japan and East Asia in general. It feels like I see a lot of these marketing-fueled myths repeated in manga/manhwa/manhua. Is it just a simple case of various mangakas being uninformed, or something that persists in the general cultural...

Man, I'm unreasonably invested in this villain-of-the-week battle manga. The wait for each chapter is killer, but it's worth it for how entertaining it is. Really liking how this match is way more precarious for each side than the previous ones. Vivian and Paula are balancing on a razor's edge...

Damn, these last two chapters are making me wanna reread both manga and novel. Loved this arc to bits! :glee: Don't worry, you'll get to see plenty of it in the upcoming arcs. Patience, the author of this actually knows what they're doing in most respects.

The king handled that well. Hope things work out for him. Always refreshing to see reasonable authority figures, especially ones that aren't excessively sympathetic villains or the protagonist's direct associates.
