The whole manga is a retcon. It's been established in the main series that the game like aspects were made from rich people watching the fights while the Gantz tehcnology came from the all known Aliens, received by the daughter from the old rich man from Germany so that whole setting can't exist...

I have to give props to Yukimura sensei. That whole conflict feels very realistic. Also the way Ivar was written. Even a war seeking idiot has friends and things he cares for. There was also that moment where Styrk told him it's pretty much their fault things escalated and he was shocked by it...

I don't understand Vegapunks state right now? So his brain is basically floating through the air?

This is something about Fujimoto's series I really like: Show don't tell. Nothings more boring to me than big text boxes explaining stuff. By showing things but not actually explaining it, you motivate the reader to pay attentions by finding cool details and you can do your own speculations.

Honestly the story completely lost me. I was a big SK fan and read all of flowers and SS but the long breaks kind made me forget lots of things.

Great and unique premise. Can't wait for more. Wasn't expecting people to be the is negative about it but oh well
