Ah so he wasn't in love with her too, he was wary of surface deep affection and didn't want that to happen like it did to him.

Honestly, if that happens I would really love it. The direct cause being him, and having to overcome it would be huge. In the sense, he has to save someone, dumps levels to do it. Inadvertantly creating the biggest villain to face later would be so sick. Really love that idea.

So uh, how long yall think this will last? Kinda unsure what to really go with the plot here at this point. How slow a burn can you write?
