I feel bad for Mari. She clearly knows the situation and wanted to at least glow in a bit of attention. She's not bad-looking or anything either, she could be a friend to MC in another series. I'm glad she won't be adding any drama, although Sedin is making up for it...

It's fine with me if Karhan can just marry into the Bloden family. It provides him with an escape route. However, a tiny part of me hopes the maid is paid by Ilya to give fake info. (Probably not, since mister icky has figured out that Ilya needed a higher status person to get away from him.)

I would applaud the story for handling that level of worldbuilding and economics. Anyways. Um, hey dragon boy? Could you be the 3rd male lead? The tower needed one more... And that semi-dragon form is pretty nice... 😏
