@Yarramie I agree; just meant it from a storytelling perspective, like how the story is structured. There are chapters where, rather than focusing on the plot, it's just them having dinner, the MC thinking about a few things, then a smidge of plot moving forward, if we're lucky.

@Aleph0 The taste would definitely remain, and sort be ~imbued~ into the fish. The flour would help "lock in" the flavor, and keep the fish from drying up, keeping it nice and juicy.

Ehhh, it could be wholesome if there weren't so many side-characters (including their own grandkid and daughter in law, wtf) lusting over the couple.
