I love how the notes at the end of the chapter tell you everything about these characters personalities at a single glance. Good job keeping the hand writing differences in! I bet this describes the weekend of many people after hearing Toriyama's passing. The details, man. Neat.

Absolutely devastating gut punch. The end of an era. The way this last day is depicted in excruciating details makes me so uncomfortable. Partings are never easy, but this is a really hard one.

The sad part about all this is that Ichijou thought these friends were a weakness to him, but they were the ones keeping him in check and helping him to go through life. Ichijou needed brother figures like Murakami and Misawa to go on a less conflicted, less self destructive path, and to grow...

The scene where Ichijou is pedalling through town is really strong. Ichijou considering all different ways of life and pondering what he truly is. What a tragic chapter. He could have turned it around and stuck to the right, honest path. The humane one. But his ambition took over.

Very well put. Ootsuki is about finding greatness in small things and small opportunities, while Ichijou has some chances and enjoys some of his life but also wastes a lot of energy, for he's young and foolish. Great chapter, the RPG references were funny
