I get that but the bull clearly isn't the main antagonist and is really used to introduce them as well show them off for the next arc. You could say the same when Aki uses the fox devil when killing the leech devil.

It's part of the reason this is my favorite Shonen from what I have read. I have yet to feel like "oh this was a major asspull" while reading this series.

I don't think we will get that anytime soon, if at all. All the characters feel very one note. I think 26 chapters is more than enough time to show at least some personality for one character that isn't "Fuck this dude" or "I wanna fuck this dude".
