This chapter is the very first chapter of volume 4. That cliff hanger happened on the last page of volume 1. In what universe would anyone expect a major plot device like that to be explained and wrapped up in only two volumes?

It's not that they're afraid of dying, it's that dying will mean their NPC friend is dead, they lose all their ore that they mined, and they get sent back to a respawn point. That last point is actually the most important - fast travel isn't really a thing unless a location has a teleport...

Thanks for picking this up! One small thing though, the official translation for "Luminescu" is "Luminesk".

I was thinking about picking this up after I saw it was being dropped, but then I looked at the raws for chapters 7 and 8 and uhhh..... that's a nope from me.

GGO for the femboy Kirito aspect? To me it's more of a shitty DUO reskin - white hair genderbend MC, and the 1st chapter color page spreads are basically the same thing lol. Also, ty for letting me know about Tsuki to Laika, I'll try picking that up soon.

...probably not. I wasn't planning on doing more chapters of it anyways. The MC to me just seems extremely irritating, and I'm not really getting any hints of actual plot happening in the future.

SL group hasn't dropped this, we're just kinda slow and have been fixing previous chapters to be more HQ overall. Ch 11 will be out soon though.
