Thanks to aggregator sites, I found out there are 7 translated chapters. no idea who did the actual TL though... the sites I found got their copies from PhiliaScans.

Weird... I know there use to be other chapters available for this story. There's no "deleted" chapters listed though, so it shouldn't have been erased by the takedown terrorism.

I just started reading the WN on Syosetu, and got to the sister's intro... and WOW... the WN is way spicier than the manga. And not by a little. I'm surprised nobody quoted it yet.

I decided to do the same... I found the WN over on Syosetu. Not sure if you're reading the LN, so our experiences may vary. I agree with your "it's long" assesment though... there's 374 chapters on the WN. (and the latest update was today) It'll probably take me a few weeks to read through it...

I read it on Syosetu ages ago. The story was completed June 2018. It's pretty short, so I'm surprised they didn't turn it into an anime. It'd easily fit the whole story into a single season.

I need to re-read this, because it feels like the anime should have skipped a lot of content to have caught up to the manga already... but I can't remember anything being skipped. :thonk:

Honestly, the artwork of the orphanage is a lot gentler than how it was described in the WN. (and the anime's depiction was even kinder than the manga.) tl;dr - Animal stables are cleaner, and the animals better fed and clothed.
