I should add that he'll also just say that there's no punishment either, because he does want to help them in the end.
I just think his personality is one where he likes to troll people for his own amusement.
I'm just calling it here:
Bet is rigged. King can't taste a thing at all. It's impossible to make him say "Delicious".
Guy is just doing it to mess with them because it's amusing.
The trial feels so obviously a sham used to scapegoat a rookie for the sake of saving face.
Like it should incredibly obvious that the person who takes responsibility is the veteran in this situation as the highest-ranking member of the party. He was even the teacher for the excursion and that...
Definitely feels like a time skip/a bunch of chapter jump.
Especially because we suddenly have different people and an entirely different situation from the last chapter.
I feel like ever since OG Wen Zheng woke up and managed to speak with our Su Luxia and hear her plan, he had little issue with losing everything if it meant that him and OG Su Luxia could live together as a happy couple, just the two of them.
In essence, the love the OG Wen Zheng and Su Luxia...
As twisted as her words are, I can't help but feel a deep affection for the MC from his girlfriend.
She wants him and only him, because of his faults (although I still wonder if she's reinforcing his issues as well)
I'm weirdly on board with this arc, since I'm fond of the arcs where the male lead isn't an awful person and actually likes (whoever Luxia is replacing). Even moreso because the original for this arc did nothing wrong and her wish is to be happy with her husband.
Oh god. Why are the text boxes out of order. Characters are saying the wrong things with some repeating dialogue and it feels like everything shifted forward an entire text bubble.
