Paul should have put "Mag-chan" on the doll's dress. But it's nice to see a character beyond the central Chapter 1 recruits for a change.

A good chapter, but a few Japanese language or cultural jokes that don't translate easily. Couple that with some fancy backgrounds I just ain't gonna fill in, and it's open season on margin notes.

The town in the first strip is actually Berberah (ベルバラ), which sounds fancy in Japanese, but ugly in the English localization. So instead, I went browsing for a random town with a ritzy sounding name, and settled on Billemina from the Ptia map. And there's no way I could make out what it says...

This chapter was a bit weak, IMO. And it kinda feels like Magnus and Dio switched personalities. But, oh well. The next one's going to be good.

Man the art style is jarring when you jump from Vol 4 back to Vol 1.
