Ken's first loss and its from some douchebag. Is this arc just an excuse for the Author to practice drawing women? because I feel thats lacking in that department sure but to sacrifice the story like this way feels disappointing...

I guess that answers my question why Ken went to take the Casino cause he knew about Tae soo's scheme all along. this does feel like a Yakuza plot. not the side quests in that game but the serious main quests.

Im late to the party but im slowly realizing...the fights are just representations of who's ideals are stronger. and the deciding factor is the one Author THINKS is the better ideal. theres no meaning in strength, training, genius fighting or even willpower...its just who believes in themselves...

Yep as always. thru sheer willpower Ken just bulldozes anyone. There was hope when he was actually struggling but he beat the guy because...IDEALS or whatnot. its getting harder to get thrilled for these fights....

I kind of wish there's some proper scaling to show each person's fighting prowess. seeing them fight outrageously huge numbers against them doesnt really hype me up knowing that Ken and his gang usually win even OFF SCREEN. this is the main thing that grinds my gears on this entire story. cant...
