Agree with you there @Tsukasa_iLy it's getting really annoying now. I don't mind if he just took those 20 palm strike and the story moves on, but Su Xiao had to get involved and the whole situation is just one drag fest.

The Su Xiao scene would've been more emotional if it wasn't for the contrast of his usual idiot self. Can't have someone being portrayed as a complete idiot the whole series just to turn around and have him say something that doesn't sound like him.

@BuffSoul There should be a limit to it though, like the protagonist is 28 years old, went through his childhood being tricked, he should be wiser by now but he's still sleeping in for no reason and blamed it on someone who's a decade his junior iirc. It came off as irritating rather than funny...
