from the little i seen people talk about it, it seems the adaptation of the novel wasn't the best either. ( not that I have read it myself ) So it seems it never got off the ground.

It might, but If it does, you either had too much topping, or its a skill issue you are eating it the wrong way. Same thing with roasted onions etc, if you stack it right and you don´t have too much, it should stay just fine.

Yeah..... It's a great way of showing MC´s apathy when not punched in the face with a critical issue. But honestly, Illumgand deserved better. All things considerd he was a minor nuisance at best, and MC 100% had the chance to help him avoid what is to come.

This is finished with 292 chapters, but I can only find 150 translated, not counting MTL. ( which has all 292 ) Despite the story beginning with the MC falling from the sky ( yes, that part is quite literally part of the introduction to the MC ) It's quite a slow burn. It's not a bad story...

Its a little different from the novel, but at least they kept the fact that his fighting style was controlling monsters. He ( and the monsters ) just are abit more robotic than organic unlike from the novel.

This chapter seems to hint towards them both being from the future or an alternative dimension. Would not be the strangest thing, but the implications of that are very interesting considering the system MC has.
