You know what. These last 6 or so chapters actually felt pretty good. It's a cool insight into the characters and the world building. It would have been nice if these details were peppered in here and there rather than just being dumped at the end but I'm not sure if this is how the web novel...

Shun is quite possibly the most boring strongest character ever lol. I get that he's jaded cause he never had to try but the fact that he's not even a little surprised that for the first time in his life he has to try a little harder is boring. it'll make the downfall feel better tho lol.

nah man. Nagatoro didn't publicly humiliate Hachioji for his entire life despite having been "childhood friends" (whatever that means in this manga). Sure it's the same premise but the FL in this is just a straight up horrible manipulative person.
