As with all endings, this won't satisfy everyone. I've felt lukewarm to this ending arc since the get-go, but I'm a sucker for happy endings. It's a shame that we never got real character development for the side characters. The entire final fight ranged from boring to jaw-droppingly stoopid...

I'm gonna agree with the bandwagon. I prefer the original. Sweet Mask's unrepentant murdering stuck out in a good way, but I guess we just HAD to get it changed...

@phil777 Nothing late about it. Now is the perfect time to read all of Asura for the first time and then catch up to Omega. Asura only became amazing with the tournament, and Omega finally reached that part too. On a side note, I'm on my 4th reread of Asura and it's still freaking metal.

The anime is a fine comedy in the vein of Konosuba. I really don't understand the low ratings. edit: I know that the director is the konosuba director

...He was about to shoot a fucking tailed beast ball? This annoys me. I've been mildly annoyed for the past few dozen chapters, but this is just baffling. Why? Body transformation is understandable because supernatural vampire demons, but shooting a freaking energy bomb from your mouth?

Hm. I really dislike that Jack the Ripper fought head-to-head. I was hoping for more tricks and stuff rather than becoming an inexplicable action hero. Still, hopefully the next match will be a bit more creative.
