This series started out as your typical isekai slop with mediocre art and shit translation, but surprisingly the art goes quite hard in fight scenes, the tl holds up (depending on the group), and it's not even isekai. Not to say this is a masterpiece, but it did exceed my expectations.

Idk I feel like he only gets portrayed as somewhat sympathetic to make Karin look more evil. Aoi has never considered forgiving him and it is made clear he's responsible for his own choices.
