Interesting take, think I've always had an intrest in weapons ranging back to the 80s. Not that you would believe me, because you know, I'm a stuck up moron.
But I do enjoy watching Adam Savage of Myth Buster fame as he fanboys over armor and weapons in museums, or Tod's Workshop when he builds...
Yupper, he now has no excuse to not bed his harem... or least almost no excuse. Hopefully the fact they have been filled full with his seed is enough for them to keep at it with more emotions and less robotic motion.
Hard not to defend an opinion I believe to be true. Again, I'm not saying you are wrong about the Chinese repeating crossbow. The humans of medieval China were limited as merely humans, the materials they could use, and the complete lack of bullshit magical enchantments.
So yes we can both...

Author seriously needs to stop playing with his little man and just let him properly fuck that dragon up.
Going for a little tail is an a option, but sometimes it's better to finish quickly by going for head.
The very presence of this armor and weapon renders the rest of this story pretty much null and void. Anyone worthy of being conquered would be under the Empire's boot, and anyone not would never be able to raise a hand against them.
They would have long since conquered the world, took the...
That honestly depends on the movement of the firing mechanism and how it is braced. If there is little to no friction as one pulled the charging handle and the foregrip and butt were adequately braced. It would mean the top heavy leverage that the IRL version had into something more manageable...
Complacency and it's best bud hubris do claim many a victim, but what I see here is an author either being lazy and looking for cheap drama, and or fundamentally misunderstanding how a fantasy society like this would function and manage its defenses.
If the village management went to the...
It's not so much how people act in a crisis that I find forced. It's the fact that in a fantasy world where magical beasts, bandits, and especially rogue elites can attack your settlement, means there should at least someone on active duty that can handle it.
The presence of guards at the gate...
You do realize that last few chapters delt with humans that were doing much the same thing right... because of a wine tasting event... and before that it was a group of elves that was using drugs to experiment on people they kidnapped to make supersoldiers... and earn the right to be a royal...
Not to say you are wrong about the IRL version, but when it is crafted from fantasy materials and enchanted with magic you can't really judge it by its IRL counterparts. Sure by all means tear into them if they are claiming it is an exact copy, but the MC doesn't mention it's origins nor much...
NGL this feels so forced... granted you're not going to stick all your elites on gate duty, but there should be a rotation so that one of them would be available react near immediately if there is an emergency.
In the end, the Princess lost 2 pieces while the Chancellor lost 7 pieces. Not sure how many moves that would take, but it's more then the two we are shown.
@jipowap
Not only are we not shown the board state at any point, but we are also deprived of what pieces each player captures, only the...
These girls come from nobility and or military families. So there would be no need to go the hard assed drill instructor route. We see him giving instructions and lightly correcting the striker DPS when she doesn't react immediately to mobs bypassing the tank. So I don't really see him working...

No one bothers to ask the villagers if the ring belongs to anyone who lives there...
And of course the MC gets nabbed the second he tries to leave the starting area... smh they couldn't see that big dopey looking seagull flying in from miles away...
I know they are OP AF, but it is still a good idea to start building the proper forms early. Bad habits develop quickly, especially when you are first starting out. However the MC's approach feels more ad hoc, and good enough for now. Which is rather short sighted for someone aiming for S Tier.
NGL, I felt a little disappointed in how chuuni Zain sounded and acted as he went about his villian routine. Not that he couldn't have looked bad ass doing his thing, but the 5th grade act didn't suit his overall style.
True one book, but that book has many pages. Also does he ever really use white magic? There is a possible use of regeneration while he face tanks any damage he doesn’t dodge, but we never see any other form of white magic. Instead he summons demons, transforms his body into that of a demon...
