The web novel was just updated in January (Book 6 Chapter 128), it's just that apparently the fan translator was sick so the English translation is still stuck at chapter 120

Yeah, they work closely together I think. but this chapter also serves as the last chapter of the manga volume (book 8) so the editor might be responsible as well For the novel they simply end on Harold getting the death sentence, the other parts AFAIK are told in the next book via flashbacks

Nope, this chapter, while it moved things around, adapted the end of novel book 2 (out of 6 books, and still on-going) Manga raw is at ch65, and still on-going as well~

The manga adaptation moved things around, the novel book 2 actually ends with the death sentence cliffhanger lol... IIRC the plot twist was part of some flashbacks later on Anyway, next manga chapter continues with Book 3 at Chapter 48, after that do read on the current fan translator site...

@orangpelupa @sparrow34 @DragonK123 Yeah it's unfortunate the mangaka's way of drawing the two are so similar, esp. their hair. Also, the character designs are by the novel illustrator. Currently, you can tell the two apart with their facial expressions and Itsuki's mole below his right eye..
