Usogui - Vol. 38 Ch. 411 - The Excuse To Fight Back

I loved Kadokura's expression when he got "convinced" by Kaji's thinly veiled plan to use him like a metaphorical battering ram. "This is stupid but I can't technically disagree with you."

    @BanditHadron technically it's an ass-pull power down.

Usogui - Vol. 38 Ch. 407 - The 卍(Ban) Island Thrown Into Chaos

@Ominous just as your name implies, this is some ominous shit. And you're right, just as Midara said, the rule only stipulates that the one who's Kaiser at the end of the Ban game gets to challenge the leader, thus making everyone a potential candidate.

    Jagaaaaaan - Vol. 8 Ch. 87 - Breakdance

@criver @es_kan while I think that criver is right and they're just some randos, I'd consider it peak comedy gold if they really were the people from the body snatcher's group.

    Masuraou - Vol. 2 Ch. 17 - Training...!?

I did at first think that he'd either have to work on his "general physique" or awareness, and I was happy to see that my assumption was correct when he got hit with the plaster for the first time.

Somehow I feel Koga won't job flat out, but get into something of a fight until Ryuki appears to back him up.

    Delivery of the Dead

At first, I read this only because of Chillock's meme translation, but now I am unironically looking forward to the deeper mystery this series is hiding.

    Usogui - Vol. 36 Ch. 393 - Demon King

Neronero might be smart and all, but he really doesn't have the heart to be a Kakerou level gambler. And Yakou really is the biggest Tsundere in this manga.

    Usogui - Vol. 36 Ch. 391 - Hand Chopper

Pretty sure Baku is gonna do what many people are suggesting. He did after all reconfirm the exact rules of the game and has something insane in mind.

@Joklamar Hair and nails don't grow after death. The only reason why people thought they do is because the skin dries up and thus contracts, that's what gives off the impression of them still growing, but otherwise they behave like all other cells in your body: they die with you.

    Usogui - Vol. 36 Ch. 389 - A King's Game

If only it were the cigar that stings. 😢 edit: iirc someone told Kaji easly in the story, that Baku was the kind of person who sacrificed his friends in previous games, but now it really seems as if Kyara is the only person he actually lost.

Usogui - Vol. 36 Ch. 388 - The Sad News Within The Hollowness

I can’t help but feel as if this is something of a descent into darkness for Baku.

Usogui - Vol. 36 Ch. 387 - Reward Of "Violence"

I guess I was absolutely wrong about Kyara not getting killed off. That boulder to the head really must have been too much for him in the end.

    Usogui - Vol. 35 Ch. 381 - Death In A Nanometer

If Kyara survives (and I see little reason why he should croak just yet with 150 or so chapters still left), he'll definitely be in horrible shape after this fight.

    GIGANT - Vol. 5 Ch. 45 - Satan

That Satan creature seems to elicit some sort of reaction from people who see it.

Star Martial God Technique - Ch. 297

It’s like these „noble families“ just can’t help themselves being either backstabbers or snakes. I know the concept of having/saving face is important in China, but for the love of God, why is it impossible to accept the outcome of such situations with honor and dignity?

    Natsu no Kizu

Not good, it's trying to be too artistic with its final message.

Escaping at the count of 1.9? Now those are some John Cena moves right there.

    Out - Vol. 16 Ch. 146

Now I wonder how they will try to pull off "presenting" Meguro's body.

    Pygmalion

It's fairly alright, although a bit rushed. I do have to give it a few points for easing up on the gore later on and focusing more on a few more philosophical aspects. However those were a bit shallow, but heartwarming enough for me to give it a 6.5/10 in total.
